Sheet Maker

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 22 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Sheet Maker (gsheets.chiragarora.in), operated by Chirag Arora ("we", "us"), handles information when you use the app. Sheet Maker lets you sign in with your Google account and create, list, rename, share and delete spreadsheets in your own Google Drive.

1. Information we access

When you choose "Sign in with Google", you are asked to grant the following permissions. We request only what the app needs to work.

Google permission (scope)Data accessedWhy we need it
openid, email, profileYour name, email address and profile pictureTo show which Google account you are signed in with.
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.fileOnly the Google Sheets files that Sheet Maker creates for you: their names, links, creation dates and sharing settingsTo create spreadsheets, show your list of sheets, rename them, turn "anyone with the link can view" on or off, and move them to trash when you ask.

Sheet Maker cannot see, open or modify any other file in your Google Drive, and it does not read the contents of your spreadsheets.

2. How we use the information

3. How the information is processed and stored

4. Sharing and disclosure

We do not share Google user data with third parties. The only party that receives it is Google itself, when your browser calls Google's APIs on your behalf. If you choose "Share link" on a sheet, Google makes that sheet viewable by anyone who has its link; you can undo this at any time with "Unshare".

5. Data retention and deletion

6. Security

All communication happens over HTTPS. The app uses Google's official sign-in (Google Identity Services) and never sees or stores your Google password. Access is limited to the narrow drive.file permission described above.

7. Google API Services User Data Policy

Sheet Maker's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

8. Children

Sheet Maker is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their information.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and revise the effective date above. Significant changes affecting how Google user data is used will be shown in the app before they take effect.
